Netregs appoint AgencyUK
The Environment Agency has appointed a leading brand and response marketing agency, AgencyUK, to work on its new digital strategy following a three-way pitch.
The objective is to significantly increase traffic to the NetRegs website, focusing initially on pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. As part of an initiative involving all government websites, NetRegs is required to converge all its content with the Business Link website by March 2011, which will also be integral to TheAgency’s brief.
NetRegs provides free, confidential and accessible guidance on environmental obligations to SMEs in the UK, to help them comply with environmental law, and is the trusted provider of guidance on environmental legislation. The organisation is supported and funded by The Environment Agency, The Scottish Environmental Protection Agency and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency.
Rebecca Cogswell, communications manager for The Environment Agency, says: “AgencyUK is a trusted partner in the PPC advertising arena and I know that its strong digital offering and strategic B2B marketing experience will ensure we meet our targets for 2011.”
Amy Stobie, partner at AgencyUK, adds: “Our new partnership with NetRegs, supported by The Environment Agency, allows us to combine our digital PPC capability with our knowledge of the environmental sector. We’re excited about the win, and look forward to working together to develop intelligent, insightful award-winning campaigns.”
