Photonic Technology leaders Gooch & Housego declares partnership with AgencyUK
Leading photonic technology manufacturer Gooch & Housego have appointed AgencyUK as their lead Planning, Creative and Digital agency following a number of high profile acquisitions across Europe and North America. The manufacturer, now a $100m global organisation, operates in more than twenty industry sectors and continues to have a high profile role in the supply of critical systems and components to the defence and aerospace, industrial and life science markets, with a heritage extending back over three decades.
The appointment of a lead agency is a fundamental part of Gooch & Housego’s growth strategy, which has been to consolidate recently acquired firms under a single G&H brand.
According to Gareth Jones, Gooch & Housego CEO, “The consolidation and strengthening of the G&H brand is critical for the company’s growth as we look forward to strengthening our position as leaders in the provision of innovative photonic technology. Our expertise enables increased efficiencies in fields such as satellite communications, industrial materials processing and medical diagnostics.”
Bath-based communications firm AgencyUK have worked with large-scale organisations including the AA, BT and Siemens, and worked closely with the G&H marketing team on the restructure, design and development of the new G&H global website and their digital footprint.
“We chose AgencyUK based on their understanding of the modern media landscape and how they can help us co-ordinate our brand story across all our online and offline customer touch-points. Their approach to delivering effective marketing communications is clear and simple, and it was evident in their passion and track record for delivering commercial success that they were the right partner for us. They are also a very creative team” says Adrian Chance, Gooch & Housego Marketing and Communications Manager.
Saman Mansourpour, Managing Partner at AgencyUK, said: “It is always a privilege to work with truly innovative organisations that play a part in our every-day lives as well as out-of-this-world discoveries. Our task is to help G&H realise future commercial success through their communications globally, and to leverage their brand to achieve it. Our team is well placed to do that, as we have a wealth of experience, a high profile client list and a proven track record. The new website is testament to this”.
