Cytel is a global leader in statistical analytics for clinical drug discovery and development, offering 360° services include SaaS platforms, consultancy and clinical trial design.

 

With several large-scale acquisitions and the launch of their disruptive platform, Solara, Cytel has cemented itself as one of the world’s leading clinical trial design firms and one of the biggest disruptors the industry has seen in decades.

Despite their success, most of Cytel’s growth had relied heavily on word-of-mouth, and their global acquisition drive left the brand at risk of becoming fragmented.

It was our job to develop a high-level global marketing strategy for Cytel that would bring its acquisitions under one name, generate leads and position Cytel as the world’s go-to for clinical trial design services.

It was critical that Cytel be presented to the world as a single, cohesive entity, so our strategy focused on unifying the brand under one name, while making it flexible to accommodate brand names from future acquisitions.

To capitalise on their expanded services, we developed and implemented an extensive global marketing strategy from the ground up, introducing a content-first approach to inbound marketing for lead generation. This account-based programme aimed to cultivate case studies and thought leadership within Cytel’s prospect databases and community, positioning Cytel as a disrupter in the industry whose software was capable of delivering significant cost reductions in clinical trials. Our approach has enhanced Cytel’s visibility, generated leads and facilitated growth within the fast-paced, competitive landscape of clinical research.
