CN Bio is a leading lab equipment manufacturer, innovation hub and expert in automation.
Their ‘Body on a Chip’ technology is their proprietary IP, enabling lab technicians to more precisely test the effects of combination drugs on individual organs or on the body as a whole.
With the emergence of fast-paced lab testing, multiple tests can be carried out simultaneously, decreasing the requirement for long lead times,
and large teams of laboratory technicians.

The technology is ‘plug and play’ – designed for quick setup and easy training – and comes with a vast array of consumables and assays, making customised drug tests fast and globally accessible to laboratories of
all sizes.
Our challenge?
To launch a series of emerging kit to lab technicians, chief medical officers and wider decision makers within the industry.
Guided by research
Understanding the audience was key to determining the marketing strategy. A complex blend of decision-makers, influencers and laboratory designers would all be involved in the final decision to implement the new kit.
By developing detailed personas covering clinical operations, chief medical officers, lab technicians and heads of departments, we were able to define the audience and build out messaging.
We developed a new brand framework and guidelines in support of CN Bio’s new line of laboratory devices.
This included:
- Developing key messaging targeting each audience profile
- Launching the new CN Bio website, as well as all associated marketing collateral and visual assets
- Developing media plans detailing how to best reach our target markets
- Booking partnerships with key trade publications, industry events and thought leaders
- Developing training materials for the sales team and their agents to better communicate the features and benefits of their new devices
- Supporting in global events, exhibitions and webinars
- Building a target database of potential customers, and planning an ongoing programme of communications to support their sales funnel
