Creating a bold brand identity to carry FWD into the future of education.

FWD is a next-generation skills, training, research and innovation programme fusing science, arts, creativity and technology to help businesses, employees and learners become future-ready.

 

A collaboration between B&NES Council, Bath College, Bath Spa University and the University of Bath, we began work with the programme at its very earliest stages to create and deploy a vibrant, modern brand identity and website, ready for launch.

A bold step FWD. A programme as multifaceted as FWD meant conveying its purpose and appealing to multiple distinct audiences was going to be tricky.

It was also important that we make sure the branding could reflect the different outlets of the website for future work down the line.

Multiple design routes were explored at length before the strongest one was chosen. We created the brand’s logo, a striking primary and secondary colour palette, partner logo lock-ups, roller banners, branded PowerPoint, brochures and letterheads and a complete website design.
